Every Halloween with Carter has been great, but this was definitely the most fun we've had trick-or-treating! He went door to door with Dee dee and was always so excited as he walked away shouting, "Look Mom! It's candy!"
And now about the costumes - - so Carter was initially supposed to be something else (we're hanging onto it to see if he'll wear it next year), but he did not want any "costume" on him. So I got creative! We had him wear pajamas! Russ and I coordinated with him and he thought it was fascinating that we were all skeletons. I also bought a Jack Skellington hat for Russ to wear, but Carter insisted on sporting it all night. In the end, he was just utterly adorable! (and he even let me put a little paint on his face!)
