A few weeks ago we took off for a fun-filled Fall vacation. This was actually our first family vacation with just Russ, Carter and myself (although we did miss having Madison along). We rented a van and it was heaven to have so much room! Makes us want to get our van even sooner!!

When we stopped for gas and lunch there was actually a playground! I think every rest area should have one!
After about seven hours we arrived at my dear friend, Kristin's. Her son Diego is just a few months older than Carter and of course they became fast friends and quickly set off to color...

And play the drum...
And open some gifts!
